Officers were called to the area of Annapolis Road and Cooper Lane to investigate a two-vehicle crash that killed Michael Ray Sr. around 5:15 p.m., Wednesday, April 5.
Investigators say that Ray was driving east on Annapolis Road when he was struck by a westbound vehicle as he attempted to turn onto Cooper Road.
Ray was rushed to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Two passengers in Ray's vehicle and the second driver were also treated for injuries and are expected to survive.
